Key Milestones & Activities

EARN Project Activities & Services

Youth Skills Development

Under the project, a total of 800,000 NEET youth — at least 60% of whom are women — will receive demand-driven training through both online and offline platforms. Among them, at least 30% will be supported with hands-on assistance, specialized mentoring, and business guidelines to develop them into successful entrepreneurs.

Youth Skills Development

Post-Training Support

The project aims to ensure long-term career support for youth in both local and international job markets following the completion of training. As part of this initiative, trained young men and women will benefit from job fair arrangements, internship placements, and initial financial assistance.

Post-Training Support

Business Startup Support

A total of 15,000 selected beneficiaries will receive seed financing — an initial capital support — to help them establish and manage small enterprises. Under the guidance of experienced trainers and business mentors, young men and women will have the opportunity to become entrepreneurs and expand their desired businesses.

Business Startup Support

Job Fair Arrangements

Through nationwide year-round job fairs, career counseling sessions, and awareness campaigns, youth will be connected directly to the labor market. In addition to direct engagement with employers, special counseling arrangements will be in place for women and individuals with specific needs.

Job Fair Arrangements

Innovation Grant

An Innovation Grant — locally referred to as "উদ্ভাবনী তহবিল" (Innovation Fund) — has been established to support risk-taking youth in implementing groundbreaking ideas in the youth development sector, aimed at enhancing skills and creating employment opportunities. Winning business proposals will be awarded this grant through an open and competitive selection process.

Innovation Grant

Community Capacity Building

To create a supportive environment for young men and women, community groups will be formed — particularly involving women — with representatives from various levels of society. These groups will be trained and made aware of the project's significance, necessity, and available opportunities and benefits.

Community Capacity Building

Establishment of VLTCs Nationwide

A total of 5,000 temporary Village Level Training Centers (VLTCs) will be established across the country to provide skills training to youth. These centers will be managed by management committees, ensuring a minimum standard of training environment and climate resilience.

Establishment of VLTCs Nationwide

Creating an Enabling Environment

One of the key objectives of the project is to create a discrimination-free and inclusive environment for young men and women. Special emphasis has been placed on accelerating the overall advancement of women in society and ensuring their voluntary participation, with the goal of building a prosperous and inclusive system for all.

Creating an Enabling Environment

Child Care Facilities

A completely safe and child-friendly environment will be ensured at 20 selected training centers. Trained caregivers will look after children under direct supervision. Children with disabilities will receive special support, and a confidential complaint mechanism will be in place to report any form of child neglect or mistreatment.

Child Care Facilities

Special Focus on the Disadvantaged

Under the project, special consideration has been given to ensuring equal opportunities for improving the quality of life of third-gender individuals, persons with special needs, ethnic minorities, and other disadvantaged youth. Gender-responsive programs will directly support their skills development and journey toward self-reliance and economic independence.

Special Focus on the Disadvantaged
