Workshop Held to Develop Social Norms Strategy for EARN Project
Various social restrictions influence women’s roles and mobility in society, often affecting their participation and opportunities in the workplace. Observations and recommendations on how such restrictions impact women’s engagement in employment were discussed at a workshop organized under the Economic Acceleration and Resilience for NEET (EARN) Project, being implemented by the Department of Youth Development. The workshop also emphasized developing a social norms strategy to create a more inclusive environment for young men and women who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).
