EARN Breadcrumb
Objectives of the EARN Project
This initiative aims to enhance the skills of rural NEET youth and ensure their economic inclusion. Through this effort, 900,000 skilled workers will be developed by 2030, accelerating the country's sustainable economic transformation.
Skills Enhancement & Self-Employment Initiative
Approximately 27 percent of the country's total youth population are NEET, of whom nearly 90 percent are women. This amounts to approximately 18.2 million individuals — including around 2.9 million men and 15.3 million women (Source: BBS Population Census 2022). The EARN Project has undertaken a major initiative to enhance the skills and promote self-employment among a significant portion of this large population.
